Spunky Baby's Story...
Baby has such an innocent face with heart-throbbing round eyes. This ten-year old darling is so very well mannered and sweet. She is a good little girl with other very quiet, gentle natured cats and needs a quiet, adult, low-stress home. She has lost three separate homes now in her 10 year life, all due to her familys' economic or personal instabilities that caused her to be surrendered back to the Catnip Cottage. Always, she remained a perfectly-mannered lady through it all, always ready to trust and love again. Baby is gentle and sweet-natured. We have never had any inappropriate behaviors from her. Baby is declawed, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed. Baby is waiting and hoping for a stable home with a loving, caring and quiet human or two where she can finally settle in and stay purrever. Are you the person she's been waiting for?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Spunky Baby, a Summerville Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Summerville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Summerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Summerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Summerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Summerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
