Scrappy's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Scrappy's Story...
Scrappy is a young, white terrier mix with the cutest underbite and permanently flipped ears. He is neutered and just had his coat completely shaved for a nice new one to grow in. He weighs about 10 pounds, maybe a little less. Scrappy gets along really well with other dogs and likes to play with yous. He's friendly and playful but when it's time to relax he loves to curl up in your lap and take a nap. Best of all, Scrappy is crate trained and always uses the bathroom outside! He passed a cat that was in a crate, and he had no reaction to the cat, so I would say he is probably okay with cats. Scrappy is sometimes shy with new people and may bark at them at first but he warms up pretty quickly. Hmmm, what else? He was rescued by Jen K. from the streets of Echo park a little over a week ago. I love the little guy! I can be the primary contact - or 9144380262.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home.
