I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.
With just one day left for Santa Paws to finalize his Christmas flight he received an urgent update...25 shar pei in New Mexico needed his help. He quickly checked his lists and sure enough ALL 25 were one the "NICE List", unlike their owner who was at the very top of his "Naughty List". With the help of his NASPR Elves in Texas, he was able to provide all their Christmas wishes...clean warm bedding in loving and caring foster care, vet care for all their medical needs, unlimited quality food with lots of treats and the promise of a future where all these things would be provided for them with a FOREVER family that would love and cherish them.
As holidays go it was a grand success. New Year brought many interested families and as Valentine's Day rolled around many of the 25 had found their homes. Cupid must of been a bit jealous of all the praise Santa Paws was receiving and worked a little magic of his own. The day before Valentine's Day, Shyloh surprised everyone by giving birth to (5) beautiful, healthy shar pei...all of which are now adopted into loving families.
Shyloh is still hoping and waiting for her perfect family. She is healthy, happy and well mannered. Originally she was a very "shy" girl as were the others from NM. Now she is outgoing, affectionate and can't wait to learn new things. She explores the world with the wonder of a pup, seeing all its marvels with a cautious yet excited attitude. Shyloh is spayed, has had entropion surgery, is current on vaccinations and greets trustworthy people with a smile (which sparkles thanks to her teeth being cleaned). She is crate trained, loves to ride in the car, is well behaved on lead and has NEVER had an accident inside. She is dog friendly, good with children and has a very loving and gentle nature. She weighs 42 pounds and is believed to be approx. 3 years old.
Holidays seems to have played a huge part in the fate of these NM dogs, so Shyloh and NASPR are hoping that with the 4th of July approaching, that Uncle Sam will be working a little magic of his own and help her find her forever family.
If you would like to be a part of the "magic" by being Shyloh's forever family please complete the adoption application.
