Frankie's Story...
Yo, Frankie here. At 3 years old I am a pretty cool cat. I am very mellow and laid back. You got drama? Forget about it. I am not that kind of guy. I mean, yeah, I will comfort you at the end of a sad movie, and I will definitely be there to listen when you get home from a long day at work. But if you are gonna get upset every time I forget to text you back, then this ain’t a good match. I am happy in just about any situation. You have other animals? No problem. You have kids? Great, I love ‘em (as long as they are gentle). Don’t have either? No worries, I can handle alone time. I just want someone who loves me for me. I am neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. My adoption fee is $100. I am living at The Pixie Project cattery, so come visit me today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Frankie, a Portland Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Portland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
