Siegfried's Story...
Ladies and gentlemen, I am proud to introduce to you, the most incredible, the most fabulous, the most jaw-dropping adorable Chihuahua in the entire world – Siegfried! Haha, I love grandiose introductions, don’t you? I am pretty spectacular, in my own humble opinion. I am sweet and charming and just loved to be loved! I am great with other dogs and cats (I think that includes tigers), but would prefer a home without children. I am a small dog with a big personality and a big heart! But don’t think I am too stereotypical, I may be a Chihuahua mix but I am no “yappy” dog. I am fixed, vaccinated and microchipped. My adoption fee is $180. I am living in foster care, so download an application at pixieproject.org and send it in to schedule a meet and greet!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Siegfried, a Portland Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Portland, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
