Lily's Story...
Hi! My name is Lily. When my foster mom found me at a dump site on the Navajo reservation, I was practically dead. Other dogs had attacked me, I had not eaten in a very long time and I was emaciated. On top of that, my leg was badly injured and I could not walk (See my "before" picture in my bio). She carried me to her truck and took me home with her and, as you can see, I put on weight and am now such a beautiful girl. I am looking for a special person or family to welcome me into their life. I must say, that due to being picked on in my past, I 'd prefer to be your only princess. I am an affectionate girl who enjoys socializing with people of all sizes. I do like to chase cats, however, so I should have cat-free home. I don't mean to brag, but I'm exceptionally smart, loyal, freindly, and learn very quickly. I'm currently participating in weekly dog obedience classes, so I'll be "miss manners" in my new home. If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mom, Cathy, at 928-853-4056 for an introduction. Or you can e-mail her at Cathybinaz@yahoo.com.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lily, a Phoenix Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
