Peppy was born in July 2008. She is a small black and white female cat. Though Peppy has been through a stressful event, she is very sweet, friendly, and loves to play and especially adapts well with other cats. Peppy was returned to our Rescue after neither of her human parents could take her with them when they separated. As a result, Peppy has lost quite a bit of weight and some of her hair as well but she is perfectly healthy and we are working on nursing her back to 'normal'. Peppy is looking for a permanent home.

The specific objective of Throwaways' is to humanely reduce the feral cat population in and around Southern Maryland. We help people who feed feral cats but have no funds to spay and neuter. We educate people on trap-neuter-return.
Your tax deductible donations are always welcome. 100% of your donation goes to food or medical care.
We are also in great need of volunteers and fosters.
We have adoption events at local Petcos (Clinton, Waldorf and La Plata on Saturdays. If you are interested in adopting, please call Linda at 240-416-1700 or Heather at 301 885 0025. Depending on the adoptee, we request a $125 donation for one cat and $200 for two. We will be happy to email you a copy of our adoption application and contract for your review. We are frequently at the Waldorf Petco, but call us first to make sure we are there that day.
We also have barn cats available if you can provide a warm barn and provide dry cat food on a daily basis.
