Pippin's Story...
Yo! What's up people? I'm Pippin, an adorable 2-3 year old Boxer mix. Isn't my face so cool to look at? I'm a lad in need of much TLC and guidance. Poor me - when I first arrived at the shelter I had scars all over my neck, legs and face. My volunteer pals can't even imagine what I've gone through in life. They don't think I got much attention either. I'm a fella who really knows how to have fun! My name really says it all! I get so excited when I run around and play ball with you. I also have a blast tossing around my toys. I know how to "sit" and would love to learn more obedience. I need work on walking more like a gentleman on lead and I will need my share of exercise. I'm a strong boy who can be dominant as well so I'd like to live with older kids please. I'm a big fan of other woofers so if you have any I'd love to have a sibling! I have so much potential to be a great dog. Please give me that chance! I know I'm not the most exotic dog but I sure am adorable! Wait until you see me in all my glory; then you'll really be smitten.

Act quickly to adopt Pippin. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pippin, a Huntington Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Huntington, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Huntington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntington paves the way for another one to be saved.
