Margaux's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Margaux's Story...
My name is Margaux (as in Hemmingway) because I am a polydactal (Hemingway cat). I have 2 extra toes on both front paws. I look like I wear mittens. I am also orange and female, which is not that common either. My eyes are amber colored and a little crossed. I am special all the way around.

I am sweet and very affectionate with an amazing personality. I have a tendancy to twitch my tail when I am excited or happy or curious - which is almost all the time unless I am sleeping. I am very outgoing and friendly and very very smart. I like dogs OK, but really do not want to live with other cats.
My extra toes will require occasional claw trimming as I cannot properly file my own claws. If you want to meet meet me, e-mail my foster mom at x1961jab@msn.com. I am very special and deserve a special home where I can be an only cat.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Margaux, a Houston Polydactyl/Hemingway cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Polydactyl/Hemingway for sale in Houston, or seeking a Polydactyl/Hemingway cat from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Polydactyl/Hemingway breeders who help with Polydactyl/Hemingway rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
