Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sadie is believed to be a Black-Mouth Cur mix approx. 9 months old. She is on the small size and won't get much bigger than 40 lbs. She has a beautiful golden/red short coat that is virtually non-shedding. The Black Mouth Cur is known for being multi-talented: herding, hunting small game, guarding and being very loyal and gentle to their humans.
Sadie has a very sweet personality and would make a great family dog. She is a little timid at first; but in a short while you will be best friends. Sadie loves to play with other dogs but can be a little bit of an alpha female; thus she needs to be matched with the right personality companion dog -- perhaps one with a playful yet non-dominant demeanor. Sadie would do fine in a small home/yard environment and is great in her crate.
Sadie was picked up as a stray in the west part of Phoenix. She was brought to us by an individual that was unable to locate her original owner and wanted to see Sadie placed in the right home environment.
