Sadie's Story...
Sadie is believed to be a Black-Mouth Cur mix approx. 9 months old. She is on the small size and won't get much bigger than 40 lbs. She has a beautiful golden/red short coat that is virtually non-shedding. The Black Mouth Cur is known for being multi-talented: herding, hunting small game, guarding and being very loyal and gentle to their humans.

Sadie has a very sweet personality and would make a great family dog. She is a little timid at first; but in a short while you will be best friends. Sadie loves to play with other dogs but can be a little bit of an alpha female; thus she needs to be matched with the right personality companion dog -- perhaps one with a playful yet non-dominant demeanor. Sadie would do fine in a small home/yard environment and is great in her crate.

Sadie was picked up as a stray in the west part of Phoenix. She was brought to us by an individual that was unable to locate her original owner and wanted to see Sadie placed in the right home environment.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Phoenix Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Black Mouth Cur/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
