Charlie Tuna's Story...
Charlie Tuna is a Maine Coon mix cat, who is about 7-8 years old. Since he was a rescue, his age is the vet’s best guess. He is up-to-date on all his shots, neutered, microchipped and ready for his forever home. Charlie gets along fine with other cats and dogs. He is litter box trained and uses a scratching post for his manicures. He is a long haired cat, so he would require regular grooming. If you are looking for a sweet, laid-back, snuggly cat – Charlie is your boy. Please email us at forrescuetn@gmail.com for an application today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charlie Tuna, a Knoxville Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
