GEORGIA's Info...

GEORGIA's Story...
Meet Georgia! RMPR rescued her at 4 months with a broken pelvis and leg that was destroyed. Georgia lost her leg but that has not slowed her down. She is playful, sweet and loves to romp about. Georgia is now at 5 months and we believe her mix to be aShar-pei mixed with maybe a pointer. She is an active, social, very sweet puppy who loves to be around people. She is good with kids and is playful with cats. She loves other dogs, but gets very excited to play so they will need to be patient with her while she learns all the rules. She walks pretty well on a leash, is crate trained, and is well on her way to being house broken. Georgia has recently had a leg amputated due to an injury that could not be repaired, but it does not slow her down! She will need a family that is understanding and patient as she gets used to life on three legs.

Meet Georgia at RMPRS booth at the BOULDER CREEK FESTIVAL BOOTH 139 BOULDER COLORADO. SAT MAY 28th from 10-2pm THIS IS RMPR"S NEXT ADOPTION EVENT!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

GEORGIA, a Westminster Pointer/Shar Pei puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pointer/Shar Pei for sale in Westminster, or seeking a Pointer/Shar Pei puppy from a breeder in Westminster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Westminster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Westminster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pointer/Shar Pei breeders who help with Pointer/Shar Pei rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Westminster paves the way for another one to be saved.
