Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Grover, named after his comical muppet-like appearance, is an engaging little flat faced persian kitty. This boy, est. to be 1- 1/2 yrs old, arrived as a stray in a local shelter, badly matted and suffering from an awful flea-bite allergy. He had to be totally shaved down. He let the staff do it without complaint, knowing he'd soon be feeling better! Hes super sweet and VERY playful...more so than many of his breed. He loves to follow his foster mom around. Grover enjoys the company of other cats and would likely be fine with a gentle dog, too. While he's not looking his best right now, it won't belong until he blossoms into a real beauty! Meet him in to his Burke, VA foster home.
Persian cats are as pretty as they are labor-intensive. These cats require daily grooming, including combing of the entire body and gentle wiping of the eyes. Many of these cats were discarded by previous owners due to the amount of care they need... so please consider carefully whether you will make this daily routine part of your life for the rest of this cat's life.
