Flynn's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Flynn's Story...
Flynn was abandoned as a puppy at the gate of a horse rescue group. Not sure what the people were thinking – Flynn is a bit small for a horse! Flynn is full of energy – still a puppy! He loves to fetch a ball and play with toys – especially chew toys. A perfect day for Flynn would be one with a lot of exercise, enrichment and playing with other dogs. Flynn is crate trained and almost 100% housetrained. He is okay with children and shows no signs of resource guarding. Flynn does like to chase cars and small animals – probably wouldn’t do well with cats. He’ll need a bit more obedience training but he’s sure to bring you lots of love!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flynn, a Houston Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
