My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

UPDATED BIO 06/08/2011: Natti is a beautiful blonde! She is 5 years old and has slimmed down to a healthy 7.8 lbs. She is coming out of her shell more and more every day. She loves to go outside for walks and even enjoys the dog park. She really seems to like the other little dogs. Because of her love for nature, she really would do well with a backyard with a fence. As far as furbuddies, she tends to do well as part of a pack, but Natti will continue to need love and reassurance to help her become better adjusted. She still startles if I touch her when she's not expecting it.

Natti is housetrained and only potties outside or on wee wee pads. I am starting to see her play with toys. She sleeps in the bed and while she's nervous, she snuggles real close sometimes. It's such a privilege to see her blossom.

UPDATED BIO 05/09/2011: Natti is a sweetheart of a 5 year old, 8.3 lb (still a little chubby... getting down to 8 lb soon :) little girl who is being fostered in Miami, FL. Natti had a dental today and was spayed. She lost 13 teeth! YOUCH! However, you can hardly tell. FM is keeping her comfortable tonight. Poor little thing. Natti is slowly coming around. She is still afraid of new people and sounds, but she is showing an interest in toys and likes to follow Nika around the house. She has played a couple of times. We think with time, she will come out of her shell.

Natti is learning to walk on a leash and is wee wee pad trained. We don't know how, but she is. She picked it up immediately and only goes on the pads. WOW!!! She is a wonderful little girl who will make a family so happy. Again, no small children please. She loves the outside and loves to run in the fenced in yard (supervised of course!). Don't wait to snatch up this wonderful little girl!

INITIAL BIO 04/22/2011: Natti is a gorgeous 8.6 lb (Chubby) 6 year old little girl who is being fostered in Miami, FL.

Nika, Natti, and Reesie were surrendered by their breeder. They are all gorgeous little girlies who do not have a mean bone in their body. They are, however, very timid. Natti and Nika are both very scared of new experiences, people, and sounds right now. She is a little on the heavy side and should probably weigh between 7-8 lb.

Natti is painfully shy. She will sit on your lap if you pet her gently, but she is highly suspect that FM has something up her sleeve at all times!. :) Please note, Natti has never walked on a leash. She is not currently potty trained. She is afraid of loud noises and new people. Anyone who applies to adopt Natti must know that she can NOT go a home with children under 12 years as she may run out the door, she doesn't like fast moving children, and wouldn't do well in a loud, noisy home. A backyard would be preferred since she does not know how to walk on a leash. Her FM is working on that with her, but in the meantime, any adopter who wishes to make Natti their Princess must know that a patient, loving, calm home is where these girls will flourish. Also, a home in which training can continue will be best as well. We will be working on socializing the girls to the outside world, outside noises, and other people/animals. They like other dogs and right now are too nervous to be outside to be able to tell whether or not they mind cats.

Thank you for reading about Natti. She will have bloodwork done, be spayed, have her shots updated, and have her teeth cleaned this week.
