My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

shoe and dog

(ID #933) Hi, my name is Bruce.

My original owner couldn't care for me so he dropped me off at his grandmother's house. Things were OK for awhile but then grandma died and there was no one in the family that could take me in. So they brought me to the shelter. At least here at the shelter I have my basic needs met, like food and water plus a roof over my head. However, I am longing to find my forever home and a family to love me. Do you have room in your heart and your home for me??

I am a young fellow at heart, somewhere around four years old and I weigh around 50 pounds. I have already been neutered, given my basic shots, and microchipped. I am also heartworm negative.

I am being sponsored by Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue. That means they are providing you with a getting started Goodie Bag when you adopt me. The bag contains a collar, leash, ID tag, training DVD, CD with helpful articles, booklet with training information, toy, and treats. They are also providing a certificate for a free training course held at the shelter.

See you soon, BRUCE.
