SPUDS's Info...

I am up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

SPUDS's Story...
Spuds is about 11 weeks old and a complete mystery as to eventual size and adult looks. He is Chunky and Spunky and ball of fluff at this point. See his mom's picture ... she is a small Border Collie/ Corgi mix, and NONE of her puppy kids look anything like her~
SPUDS is the shyest of his puppy pack, but his confidence and personality are starting to burst forth.
He LOVES to play tug-of-war and carry his favorite stuffed bunny everywhere. I AM guessing that he will mature around 40 lbs, although his mom is no where near that size.....it looks to me that a rather hefty dude paid a visit to mom...might have even been a boxer or bull dog.
SPUDS will probably do best in a situation where he has another doggie companion, as he tends to seek advise from the older and wiser dogs here.
Please feel free to call or write if you would like to make an appointment to meet SPUDS.
And thanks so much for your consideration of a Rescue Pup~

Why Adoption is a Great Option

SPUDS, a McArthur Border Collie/Bulldog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Bulldog for sale in McArthur, or seeking a Border Collie/Bulldog puppy from a breeder in McArthur.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in McArthur already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a McArthur breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Bulldog breeders who help with Border Collie/Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in McArthur paves the way for another one to be saved.
