Peyton's Story...
I apologize for tugging on your heartstrings 1st thing on Monday but this little guy’s owner recently passed away & he is in need of a good home.

Foster mom believes “Peyton” might be a toy Manchester Terrier, approx 3-4 yrs old, and at only 9 lbs, he is a perfect lap dog & loves to be held.
I spent some time playing with him yesterday & he is just a sweetheart--very happy, friendly & alert. Would be a wonderful companion animal for an older person or couple, not sure how he would be with toddlers since he hasn’t been around them so keep that in mind—but should be just fine with older kids. Foster mom has all supplies (incl pet carrier) and would happily allow someone to take Peyton home for a couple of days to see if he is a good fit with the family, and if not can bring him back. I promised her I would get the word out to everyone in my office and hopefully our awesome network of people can help place this adorable little dog.

If you or someone you know is interested in meeting Peyton pls let me know or call Sue Grebler, she lives on 2400 bl of So. 6th. Home 217-679-0136 or cell 217-622-3689. THANK YOU all so much for your consideration!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peyton, a Roodhouse Manchester Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Manchester Terrier for sale in Roodhouse, or seeking a Manchester Terrier dog from a breeder in Roodhouse.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Roodhouse already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Roodhouse breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Manchester Terrier breeders who help with Manchester Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Roodhouse paves the way for another one to be saved.
