Colton's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Colton's Story...
I am just a perfect puppy! My main traits are being loving and playful. Since I am so outgoing and laid back, I get along so well with other dogs, cats and children. I am super smart and so I almost have the housetraining thing down and I am pretty good about being in a crate. Like all puppies, I do need more obedience lessons (I have learned "sit" already) and then I will grow up to be a wonderful dog! My estimated adult weight is about 45 lbs. Right now, I am only 10 weeks old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colton, a Houston Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Collie for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Collie puppy from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Collie breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
