Scarlet Dawn is an amazing cat despite the fact that she experienced a major trauma when she was less than a year old and had to be hospitalized for 10 days. (One vet thought it was severe burns but another thought she had been drug by a car.) She is an absolute joy to have around. Scarlet is extremely happy to be safe inside a home and shows her gratitude by entertaining you. She loves to run around the house with a toy ball in her mouth talking to you at the same time. But if you talk to her too much while she’s playing, she’ll run and hide her “prize.” Because of everything she has been through, Scarlet can be a little shy until she knows you but even then a loud noise or unusual noises can still send her heading for cover.
Scarlet lives and gets along with other cats and dogs. All fosters are spayed/neutered, current on shots, microchipped, dewormed and defleaed, and tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia.
