My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please meet Fergie, a gentle and sweet kitten! She and her adorable siblings are just 9 weeks old and ready for their own homes! Their foster mommy can't say enough good things about these beautiful, friendly little kittens. All the babies have been hand raised since three weeks of age so they are extremely outgoing, loving and playful.

All five kittens love each other dearly, but love their human family just as much. They have been raised with dogs and think they're fantastic, too! Fergie especially loves the quiet times with her foster mommy, and loves to snuggle up in bed, also.

Fergie has been dewormed, received her first distemper vaccine and tested negative for FeLV.

The kittens did test positive for FIV, but please don't let that scare you! It is possible that when tested again at 14 weeks old, they will test negative as often young kittens will initially reflect their mother's status and not their own. But even if they truly are FIV positive, these wonderful kitties will still make fantastic, loving pets! FIV positive cats, as long as seen regularly by their veterinarian and cared for properly, can go on to lead long and happy lives. There are some conditions that they may be more predisposed to, but they may never show any signs of illness at all. FIV is not contagious to humans, other animals, and is very difficult to transmit to other cats.

Application and small adoption fee apply. These kittens are being fostered in Charlotte.
