Carly - Courtesy Post's Story...
I need a home!

My name is Carly and I am a 9 year old female mixed breed dog (part Sheltie, Beagle and Border Collie). I need a new home without young children or other dogs as they make me feel uneasy.

I am in good health, 31 pounds, spayed, up to date on shots including flea meds, heartworm meds, etc.. I love being outside, running and going for walks.

Unfortunately my human kids have asthma and are allergic to me, so I need to find a new home. I have been in my current home for 9 years as they adopted me from an animal shelter when I was only 9 months old.

I am truly a wonderful dog and still young at heart.

For more information on me, you can call Sally at (716) 566-2733

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carly - Courtesy Post, a Rochester/Buffalo Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle for sale in Rochester/Buffalo, or seeking a Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle dog from a breeder in Rochester/Buffalo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester/Buffalo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester/Buffalo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle breeders who help with Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester/Buffalo paves the way for another one to be saved.
