My name is Luke!

Chihuahua/Dachshund Mix Puppy for adoption in Brookline, Massachusetts - Luke

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Luke's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Luke's Story...
I am a 2 month old little puppy. My brothers and sisters and I were born (by emergency c-section!) in foster care three days after our mom was pulled from the shelter. I will likely be 11-15 lbs full grown. I am a puppy. I love everyone, and am very, very bouncy and playful. I would love to get adopted with one of my siblings, or my mom, or have a doggy playmate who can match my energy level. I am not housebroken, so I need a home with the time and energy to help me perfect my skills. I will be available for meet and greets in a couple of weeks, when I am old enough to be separated from my mom and my litter.

I will be spayed, UTD on shots, heartworm negative, dewormed, defleaed and microchipped.

My adoption fee is $400.

If you are interested in meeting me, please email my foster mom for an adoption application. **Please put "Luke" in the subject line**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luke, a Brookline Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Dachshund for sale in Brookline, or seeking a Chihuahua/Dachshund puppy from a breeder in Brookline.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brookline already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brookline breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Dachshund breeders who help with Chihuahua/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brookline paves the way for another one to be saved.
