Hi! My name is Romeo. I'm a loverboy and I like to give kisses. Everyone falls instantly in love with me and that's how I got my name. I am a 1-year-old, neutered male with a handsome, contagious smile. I'm a happy boy! Just look into my eyes, you will see my soft, sweet soul and that I will love you for life. I absolutely love people and I LOVE belly rubs, being petted and having my head scratched. I have a ton of personality. Sometimes I sit in my crate like a prairie dog. I will have you laughing in no time. I love to play with other dogs. I am pretty mellow and just like to hang out with my pals, lounging, relaxing, rolling in the grass, although I haven't seen my human friends do that yet. They just don't know what they're missing. I was brought to a shelter by a cruelty investigations officer because I was living in horrible conditions. I was very skinny and not well taken care of, but I still trust and love people. Now I am healthy, happier than ever before and ready for my new home! I promise if you give me a chance you will not regret it!

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
