Please note that since TAGS is a smaller volunteer program, we are limited to adoptions within the Durham Region area. We encourage those applicants who apply outside of the area to check your local shelters and rescue programs. We are always happy to refer you to a program in your area.
Biscotti. Named because of her colour (yes its a her) Bissy for short, is just as her name implies, an absolute treat. She is a cross between a Cocker Spaniel and some type of Hound. She has a very distinct Spaniel face, and the Hound droopy velvety ears. Spaniels are known for their companionship, and Bissy is no exception. She becomes attached very quickly to her owner but she has absolutely no problem playing with newcomers.
Biscotti thrives on companionship and would be best suited to a home with another dog or a home where someone will be home with her most of the day. She requires a high level of exercise and stimulation.
