My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! My name is Jimmy. I'm a very friendly and sweet, 10-year-old, neutered male cat in need of a new home. My family of 10 years moved out of state and chose housing where I am not allowed, which broke my heart and made me feel like a "throw away." And I've always been such a good boy. I love people and I'm good with dogs and other cats. I'm very lovable, well behaved, mellow and laid back. I'll be a very good cat and companion if you give me a chance. Adoption fee: $60.

Apply today or come meet Jimmy at our adoption event on Sunday, July 17th, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Leon and Lulu, 96 W. 14 Mile Road, Clawson, MI 48017. Event includes Scentsy sale, games, raffles, silent auction, face painting, free lunch, store sale, supply and fund drive to benefit the homeless animals of Paws for Life and more. Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
