Hi People,
My name is Max -- and I’m a happy and affectionate bichon boy. I’m a cuddler and a lover, great with other dogs and great with children. My Foster Mom says I’m sweet, loveable and well-behaved– and that’s just for starters!
I’m a playful guy with a big personality, too! Mom says I am also VERY smart! I am 100% housebroken (in fact I know how to use the doggy door), am crate trained (but I’m so good that I get to sleep in the big bed with Mom and Dad) and I want to please!
Dad says I am a good listener and a great companion! Because I like to drape myself over the couch (or over someone’s lap) Dad says I’m a couch potato… but he’s only kidding. I’m not a potato at all! I’m a bichon and I’m playful and very loving.
I like to be wherever he, Mom or anyone is - but I am never intrusive. If I can lie nearby, that is fine. If I can be in someone’s lap… well that is even better!!! Dad says that I am a great walker and a great rider (in the car,that is!). I love to go for long walks and short walks. As long as I can be with my person or family I’m very content! And, check this out: Dad says I am learning commands too!
Mom says I am a happy boy who loves to be petted. She says if I even think I’m going to get petted I roll on my back and get ready for my belly rub. Boy, do I appreciate a belly rub! Mom says I enjoy the company of both big and little people. Why she took me to a place called an Expo and I let children pet me all day long. I was very gentle and loving and they like the way I smile, too! I do ok when left alone but prefer to be with everyone ‘where the action is’. I’m just a happy, loving and sweet little guy of about six who is even more handsome in person, never complains, loves to give doggy kisses and has a great big loving heart.
