Meow-Meow's Story...
Meow-Meow is a sweet mama kitty who was surrendered to Animal Care and Control with her three 8 week old kittens. The reason given for surrender was too many animals the tragic result of people not spaying and neutering their pets. Luckily for this little family, Stray Cat Blues was able to pull them from this kill shelter and bring them into one of our foster homes.

Meow-Meows kittens have all found homes and now it is her turn. She is sweet, and was a very good mom. Meow-Meow is a Russian blue type kitten with two different color eyes. She is now spayed, up to date on vaccinations, and tested negative for FeLV and FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Meow-Meow, a Colmar Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Colmar, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Colmar.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colmar already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colmar breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colmar paves the way for another one to be saved.
