Dave's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Dave's Story...
Dave is our favorite breed of dog: the ever-popular "CBD" (Chicago Brown Dog). The handsome mix of Rott/Shepherd/Cute always proves irresistible to our intake directors. Pair his good looks with his mellow demeanor and sweet eyes, and you have yourself a catch!

Dave is a very smart boy who is a quick study. He loves nothing more than spending time with his human and canine friends alike, and we'd love to find him a home with another canine buddy to keep him company. He knows some basic commands but would really excel with some training.

Dave is living with a fantastic foster family and fits right in with their dog and cat. He's never had an accident inside, is great with all neighborhood dogs, and after a few days, he was even spotted sleeping snuggled up with their cat. Check out NLOL's
facebook page

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dave, a Chicago Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type)/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
