My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

7-3-08 - I'VE BEEN ADOPTED!

ADOPTION FEE: $300

4-2-08 - Heeeeereee's Johnny! I've always wanted to say that. I know I shouldn't toot my own horn, but since foster mom is busy right now, I will. I am a handsome fellow with a great personality. I love to play with my foster siblings, I clean my bowl at suppertime and I sleep through the night. I mean, what else could you ask for? What's that you say? You could ask for me to be potty trained. Ok, I'm working on that, but it is so hard to focus on my training when I have multiple foster siblings also messing up and quite frankly, it's just so darn easy to lift my leg on something when foster mom isn't looking. I can do better though, and I know I can, I just need some one on one attention from a family who will give me their last name and a reason to tinkle outside.

12/07 - If you spend a lot of time at home and love to take you pupster out for rides, Johnny might be the guy for you. Little Johnny hates being left home alone. He is a little snuggler and is usually the first to go to bed at night, rolling over for belly rubs when he sees me come into the bedroom.3/31/07 - Foster mommy said to tell everyone that she is sorry not to have updated my bio sooner, but she has been so busy taking care of me and my foster brothers and sisters. I had a bad time with my tummy a couple of times since my last update, but, after quite a few visits to the vet and some icky medicine and some tests everything seems to be ok now! I still hate to see people leave the house and want people home with me most of the time. I recently had a dental and my lab work was perfect!

12/21/06 - Look at me now!! My foster mom says I am sooo handsome and have the fluffiest and softest hair!

10/27/06 - Little Johnny came to me about four weeks ago from a shelter. Poor baby was so sick. He had a terrible case of hookworms and was matted and very dirty. I just did not want to take pictures of him looking like that, so I have waited until now to put him on the website. After the hookworms cleared up, he still had a bit of irritation in his intestines from them and had a rough episode where he needed IV fluid therapy. Because of the horrible matting of his hair, we basically had to shave most of it off. He is now starting to grow that back and is such a handsome young man! He loves to cuddle and rolls over for belly rubs. We are looking for a home where he will not be alone for long periods. He gets extremely upset when people leave the home. He just stands up on his hind legs and begs to come along, barking the entire time! He goes outside, but does not ask to do so. I cannot guarantee he is housebroken. I did catch him marking a couple of times, so he wears a belly band. Little Johnny will make someone a wonderful companion. He has a lot of love to share!
