Muffitt's Info...
Important Note: Muffitt is best friends with Soda L'Orange. Please adopt both of them so they can stay together!
| Breed: | Domestic Mediumhair | Color: | Calico Or Dilute Calico | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Female | Hair: | Medium |
I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, and not good with cats.
Muffitt is the perfect cat! Her fur is soft as a puffy cotton ball. And she's friendly and affectionate, an all around great cat. She's looking for an indoor/outdoor home where she can spend her days playing in the yard. She is not a "strictly indoor" cat.
Purrsonal Information

Dislikes Ummm... Let's see... I can't really think of anything I don't like.
Health Concerns What? I'm not concerned about my health. I'm in great health!
Ideal Home: Indoor/outdoor with my friend Soda.
Muffitt's Story
"My story begins when I was all alone on the street in downtown Baltimore. I was sick and hungry and feeling miserable about life. Then a nice woman found me and took me home with her. She nursed me back to health and loved me so much! But her other cat and I hated each other, and I didn't like living strictly indoors. I kept trying to get out. My human knew I'd be happiest in an indoor/outdoor home, and that wasn't possible where she lived, so she gave me to the Howard County Cat Club.
"I got adopted, and that's when I met Soda. The people who adopted us could no longer have cats, so they returned me to the Howard County Cat Club, and I brought Soda with me.
"We're living in the group home now. It's okay, but we'd love so much to have our own home and family again. We're great cats, if I do say so myself, and we deserve that!
Wouldn't you just love to meet us? The Howard County Cat Club can arrange an introduction, if you email or call them."

Rescue Group Info...
The Howard County Cat Club is a registered 501 (c)(3) nonprofit no kill cat rescue. Our mission is to keep cats out of shelters because we believe that no cat deserves to live in a cage, or to be put to death because it is no longer wanted or in the way. We operate a behavior hotline to help cats and their human companions resolve their differences. We advise people who are trying to place their no-longer-wanted cats in loving new homes, and we foster cats in our "group home" when they have no place else to go.
We are not having adoption shows at the moment, but we invite you to our shelter to meet our cats. Please call or write for an appointment.
Potential forever families must complete an application and sign a contract. Our contract stipulates that you will NOT declaw and that the cat will be returned to us if things don't work out. Cats who are adopted together must be returned together -- they may not be separated. Our contract also stipulates that you will feed wet food -- we do not want our cats to have dry food-only diets. We DO adopt to safe, responsible indoor/outdoor homes. And we almost always have ferals who must be relocated to barn homes.
