Fiji's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Fiji's Story...
This group of island cuties thought they were on their way to a tropical paradise but took a terrible detour when they were dumped at the Riverside Shelter. Now that this 4 pack of pups and their mommy are safe and comfortable in their foster home, they can relax and dream of palm trees and sandy shores.

Bali, Fiji, Java and Maui, have an adorable Welsh Corgi/Sheltie Mix mommy and must have had a handsome traveler for a daddy. They will be 8 weeks old mid May and we expect them to be in the 15 pound range when fully grown.

If you are interested in meeting our island castaways, please submit an application at www.lovebugsrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiji, a Irvine Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog for sale in Irvine, or seeking a Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog puppy from a breeder in Irvine.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Irvine already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Irvine breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog breeders who help with Corgi/Sheltie, Shetland Sheepdog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Irvine paves the way for another one to be saved.
