Bailey's Story...
Hello my name is Bailey, I was rescued from animal control. I am about 2.5 years old and full grown at 10 pounds. I am a little shy at first as I have been thru a lot lately and am new to the shelter. I am still learning that people aren’t going to hurt me anymore and I can just give and receive love! I would probably do best with an older couple or a single person, I don’t have much experience with children or other pets at this point. I am working on my puppy training but do seem to be potty trained. I am looking for a forever home to love me like I deserve is that home yours? (pictures of me are coming soon)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Edwardsville Pomeranian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian for sale in Edwardsville, or seeking a Pomeranian dog from a breeder in Edwardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edwardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edwardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian breeders who help with Pomeranian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edwardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
