Dori's Story...
Hello my name is Dori, I was rescued from animal control on my last day of life. i am 3.5 years old and full grown at 54 pounds. I love everyone, even strangers are my best friend. I am a very happy girl with a "huge heart" I give out lots of kisses and tell you how much I love you. I have very thick long hair and with the hot summer on the way, I went to the groomer and got shaved, I now have a lion cut! I like male dogs but am not fond of female dogs. I am looking for my forever family to love and grow old with! Is that family yours?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dori, a Edwardsville Husky/Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Collie for sale in Edwardsville, or seeking a Husky/Collie dog from a breeder in Edwardsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edwardsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edwardsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Collie breeders who help with Husky/Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edwardsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
