My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lila (pronounced Leela) is in a foster home located in Loxahatchee Florida

Lila is a 1 ½ year old beautiful black and tan German Shepherd Dog. Lila is spayed and up to date on vaccinations as well as her heartworm, flea and tick preventative. She will soon be microchipped as well.

Lila lived outside on a farm and wasn’t really cared for. The family then sold the property and they were going to leave poor Lila behind. Luckily for Lila, a good Samaritan rescued her, took her to the vets and contacted rescue for help. We took one look at her sweet face and immediately accepted her into rescue.

Talk about rags to riches, Lila now gets to lounge in the comfort of the nice cool air conditioning and gets fed on a regular basis and of course receives a ton of love just like she deserves. She is great with children, dogs and even cats too. She knows her basic obedience, walks well on a leash and loves to give hugs. She will even give you her paw if you ask her to.

If you can open up your heart and home to this sweet and gentle girl, please Email:luvgermansheps@live.com

All dogs in rescue are temperament tested and have basic obedience implemented as a part of their daily routine. All behavioral issues are dealt with according to each case scenario. All dogs prior to going home are up to date on all vaccinations, neutered and or spayed, and microchipped.

Adoption fees range from $100 - $350 depending on age, degree of personalized training, and if proof of bloodlines can be provided.

Application, home-check, and references must be approved prior to final adoption.
