Lady's Info...

Lady's Story...
Lady looks a lot like a german shepherd, but her height is small with short little legs and a corgi tail. She is still very energetic and very much the herder. This little gal would make a great agility or herding dog!

Lady was surrendered by her original owners because of allergies, and then a kind hearted teenager took her in, but her elders were not in favor of the idea. Lady needs exercise, and when we went out in the yard for pictures, I had to set my camera on "sport" to catch her on film initially! Then, once she was all worn out (after about 10 mintues!) she was great about posing and then going inside again -- no problems with her at all!

Lady is an active Lady and would be a great dog for a job somewhere, or for an active family. I'm pulling for her to find a great match with the right person as it seems she's had some bad luck so far! Won't you help her change her luck? If you can't adopt, tell someone about her! Thanks so much!

Act quickly to adopt Lady. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lady, a Independence German Shepherd Dog/Corgi dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Corgi for sale in Independence, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Corgi dog from a breeder in Independence.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Independence already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Independence breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Corgi breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Corgi rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Independence paves the way for another one to be saved.
