My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Annie: 3 yr old, spayed female, chocolate, docked tail, natural ears, 14inches, 14 lbs. Shots up-to-date.
Isn't this the most beautiful girl you have ever seen? Annie has a beautiful chocolate coat and warm brown eyes. She is the sweetest and gentlest dog you will ever meet. She loves the rabbits, cats and the other dogs in her foster home but the rabbits are her favorite. She will hang out with them but never chases. She is the first to be on the couch cuddling or sitting in my lap. She loves to sleep in the bed nestled up to me. In the morning she climbs up on my chest and will lay her head on mine-what a great wake-up call. She learned how to use the dog door and enjoys romping in the yard chasing and wrestling with the other dogs. Annie has come so far. When we first got her she was one of the most fearful and timid dogs we had ever seen. Through love and patience she has become comfortable in our home but when a stranger comes over she becomes nervous and will bark. She loves to go on car rides and we are taking her out for more exposure to social situations. She is getting more comfortable but it will take a home with a lot of patience to help her experience new things without fear. We do not recommend a busy household for Annie. She would do best in a calm, quiet home yet one were she would be given the opportunity to meet new people. A home where there is another dog and a fenced yard where they can play but a home where she she can go on walks. She LOVES going on a walk. She truly is a gem. Are you the home for Annie?
