Roxy's Story...
Meet Roxy! This sweet girl lost her home when her family lost theirs, and now she is ready to meet her new family and begin falling in love. Roxy takes a few minutes to warm up to new people, which is understandable given all the changes she's been through recently - however, once she gets comfortable, she enjoys a good back scratch or a rub of the ears, and enjoys hanging out with her canine pals. Roxy is a beautiful girl who just needs a place to call her own; could she be the right dog for you? For more information, please call Kathy at 858-205-9974.

To meet Roxy, please go to the County Animal Shelter at 5821 Sweetwater Road in Bonita.

When looking to add a new member to your family, please consider one of the homeless dogs at the county shelter. Open your heart and your home - you will be glad you did.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Roxy, a Encinitas Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Encinitas, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Encinitas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encinitas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encinitas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encinitas paves the way for another one to be saved.
