Piglet's Story...
Meet Piglet! Don't be fooled by this sweetheart's name - she's no pig! We think she got her name from her cute pink nose! Piglet is a sweet and gentle girl, and although she can be timid when meeting new people or in new situations, she is gaining more and more confidence every day. In fact, a generous volunteer has been taking her to special classes to help her gain the socialization and training she needs. This pretty girl has a very soft coat and just adores hanging out with her humans. Can you give her the loving, stable home she needs? You will be rewarded with unconditional love and lots of kisses! For more information, please call Kathy at 858-205-9974.

To meet Piglet, please go to the County Animal Shelter at 5480 Gaines St today!

When looking to add a new member to your family, please consider one of the homeless dogs at the county shelter. Open your heart and your home - you will be glad you did.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piglet, a Encinitas Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Encinitas, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Encinitas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encinitas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encinitas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encinitas paves the way for another one to be saved.
