My story

Zeus & Zoey are not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates rescue program. We are listing them as a courtesy to their owners.


Zeus & Zoey are a bonded pair of Siberian Huskies that have been together since their birth. A home where they can stay together is being sought. They are 1-1/2 years old, Zeus (brown/white male) is neutered, Zoey (black/white female) is spayed, and both are up to date on shots and on monthly heartworm preventatives. The owners are seeking a new home for these dogs because of family allergies. Zeus & Zoey are housetrained, crate trained and good with kids, although a little rambunctious, like all young huskies!


If you are interested in adopting these dogs, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required.


A fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs and the fence must be a minimum of 5' high. We do not adopt dogs to homes with invisible fences.
