Cowboy's Story...
Cowboy is a young Great Dane. He has been well socialized, and he passed a beginner obedience class. He knows sit, down, and stay. He sleeps all night on his bed near people. Cowboy likes to play in water and will play fetch....if he is in the mood. He is very thin and is working on gaining weight. When he was 4 months old, he was stepped on by a horse. Both of his right legs were broken. His family took him to some wonderful orthopedic veterinarians. Cowboy had great medical care and is fully healed , When you see him run and play you would not know he about his accident

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cowboy, a Deatsville Great Dane dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in Deatsville, or seeking a Great Dane dog from a breeder in Deatsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Deatsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Deatsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Deatsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
