Piper is a beautiful 2-3 yo purebred black Lab. This dog is an absolute sweetheart!!! He has the sweetest, most easy going temperament. He loves everyone he meets, dogs, people, kids, cats, and loves to either cuddle with you or go play with other dogs. The poor boy has spent a couple months in a shelter in eastern WA where he was passed by because of his color--there are just too many black dogs out there. Piper is obedience trained, wonderful on a leash, you can jog with him and it is like having a feather on the other end of the leash. He is great with children. Piper weighs about 70 lbs. full grown. He would make a wonderful dog for just about any family. His adoption fee is $250 and includes his neuter, shots, worming and microchip.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Piper - FOSTER NEEDED, a Seattle Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
