Lucy Liu's Story...
Lucy Liu is a beautiful, sweet longhair chi-girl that came into the shelter as a stray. She seemed to have been well-cared for and, in fact, needed a bit of a diet to get her back to her schoolgirl figure. Lucy weighs about 7.5 lbs and could stand to lose perhaps a half pound to a pound. Lucy was a bit shy the first two days out of the shelter, and for this reason no small children please. However, as soon as she relaxed in her foster home, she proceeded to make herself at home on the foster bed and to play with her foster sibblings. She seems to get along quite well with other dogs, we don't have any experience with cats. Lucy's perfect home would be empty nesters looking for someone to be their baby. If you are interested in Lucy Liu, please email peggymatte@bellsouth.net. Adoption application, vet reference, home visit and a small adoption fee apply.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucy Liu, a Inman Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Inman, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Inman.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Inman already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Inman breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Inman paves the way for another one to be saved.
