Monty's Story...
Monty is a great dog I kind of hate to give him up we had rescued him a couple of years ago and decided to keep him but he wants to be with people so he needs a place with people who have more time for him where he can be inside and either get plenty of exercise or walks or go to a dog park since we were going to keep him we also did alot of training with him he knows sit down stay how to walk loose lead he is definately crate trained he backs up on command and gets along with everyone we have his DNA certificate where we had him tested and it only had Great Pyr. on it and it said he was 75 percent to 100 percent Great Pyr. as to why he is black and looks like a newfy I don't know but is a great dog and if an animal like a cat approaches and slaps him he just backs down kids can climb all over him and mess with his ears and mouth he is great I will miss him but it is what is best for him

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Monty, a Parsippany Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Parsippany, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Parsippany.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Parsippany already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Parsippany breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Parsippany paves the way for another one to be saved.
