Dukey's Story...
Dukey was rescued from a hoarder and was quite shy when we first met him. But he quickly warmed up to his foster mom and now follows her every move. Not having been used to a leash at first, he’s getting better and better enjoying his daily walks. He likes to sit close to the window and watch the world outside. He loves to be swooped up in your arms and be cradled and hugged, and he’ll thank you for that with a look that can melt hearts.

If you are interested in meeting Dukey, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and fax it back to us at (310) 362-0321.

[Dukey is 1 year old and 16 lbs.]

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dukey, a Marina del Rey Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) for sale in Marina del Rey, or seeking a Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) dog from a breeder in Marina del Rey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marina del Rey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marina del Rey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) breeders who help with Poodle (Toy or Tea Cup) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marina del Rey paves the way for another one to be saved.
