Huey's Story...
Huey s a handsome 4 year old who has personality plus with the softest, sweetest, gentle eyes ever - this comes through even in these rather sad looking photos. He has a loving temperament and is very gentle. He loves to be beside you getting lots of pets and attention. He is quite docile and walks exceptionally well on a leash but he does like to play and has plenty of spunk, too. Huey can be your best couch potato friend and your best walking partner. He gets along well with others, but prefers females or submissive males. He did very well on all his behavior tests. Huey thrives on lots of exercise, and loves, loves loves the car rides! He is happiest right next to you and is perfect when you take him anywhere. He cannot be around cats and would be fine as the only dog, too. He is up-to-date on all shots and is neutered and micro-chipped. Please help Huey learn to love Washington and his new home. He has been waiting too long for you and his forever family. To meet Mr. Personality Huey, call Bernice at 206-963-5748 or bernicebellamy@aol.com. He has a heart of gold to go with yours!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Huey, a Seattle Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Boxer/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
