Prancer's Story...

I can see clearly now the snow is gone
I can see all obstacles in my way
Gone are the dark clouds that had me down
It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day ♫

The snow clouds are gone and the now retired Prancer is looking forward to sunny days ahead. Prancer is a 3-5 year old male who came to us as a stray and was running the streets around Christmas time. He was living in the ditches and eating out of trash cans. After a good hot bath and a round of heartworm treatment, he is as good as new. He is doggy door trained and longs to be a lap dog!

Oh yes I can make it now the pain is gone
All of the bad feelings have disappeared ♫
Here is that rainbow I've been praying for
It's gonna be a bright bright bright bright sun shiny day

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prancer, a Sugarland Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Sugarland, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Sugarland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sugarland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sugarland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sugarland paves the way for another one to be saved.
