Facts about Drew
Breed: Domestic Mediumhair
Color: Gray, Blue Or Silver Tabby
I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.
My name is Drew and I am a very handsome gray tabby boy (at least, that’s what everyone tells me). My foster mother named me after J.D. Drew, who plays something called baseball for a team called the Boston Red Sox. I don’t know what that means! I’m not really sure where I came from…I just know I’m about three or four years old and I used to live on the streets with my brother Isaac. I like living inside but sometimes I’m still a little nervous around humans. I love my foster mother – I especially love curling up with her in the recliner on a cold winter day. I like to have my head scratched, and when I’m really happy I purr and flex my front paws. I like playing with other cats, but sometimes there are too many other cats around and I don’t get enough attention. I wouldn’t mind being in a house with one or two cats to play with, but I don’t like to have to fight with other cats for my mom’s attention. I think that’s why sometimes I run away from my foster mother and am afraid of other people. I’m a little nervous at the thought of going to a new home, but if someone loves me and is patient with me I know everything will be okay. I really want a “forever” home, and my foster mom tells me I really deserve it because I’m such a good and handsome boy. If you want to meet me, please drop my foster mom an email: email@example.com .
FuRR, Feline Rescue & Rehome is a non-profit rescue organization whose mission is to rescue abandoned, abused cats and those in danger of being euthanized in shelters. We focus on finding safe and loving homes for cats and kittens and promote the sterilization of animals in an effort to stop the overpopulation and suffering.
Come Meet Our Pets...
All of our foster cats are living in homes of our volunteers who setup their own individual visiting schedules. FuRR does setup adoption events at Pet Smart in North Little Rock every Sunday from 12:30 pm - 5:00 pm, CT.
Our Adoption Process...
Adoption applications are required, reviewed and must be approved by the foster home prior to adoption contract completion. FuRR strives to place our foster cats in homes best suited for their individual personalities and needs so their new home will be their "forever home". We do require the new owner to allow home visits, if necessary and follow-ups a few months after the adoption and to contact FuRR if, at any time, they are unable to keep the cat so she/he can be returned to our program. Our adoption fee is $75 for kittens under the age of 6 months and $60 for cats over 6 months old. This fee includes basic vet care, sterilization and testing. Travel costs for out-of-state adoptions may not be covered by FuRR.
