My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Basil - female, spayed, vaccinate, vet checked, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested, 3yr, ~22lbs, Beagle.

Basil is a fantastic little companion, she gets along well with everyone and is a happy go lucky kinda pooch. She gets along well with other dogs and would be a great second dog (or on her own), she is fine with cats and respectful children. Basil is house trained and crate trained. She is crated at night and when left alone, we would suggest Basil continue to sleep in her crate when left alone until adjusted to her new family. Basil is currently in foster care with another dog as well as a cat, she frequents the dog parks and loves to hang out with everyone. She enjoys a good brisk walk each day and some play time in the yard, when she comes inside she is calm, clean and quiet. Beagles also loooove to sniff so Basil should not be off leash unless in a fully fenced area. Basil, like most Beagles, is also a big fan of sun tanning and attention. Providing she gets a good walk every day and some play time in the yard Basil should be as cool as a cucumber indoors probably napping on a cozy bed somewhere. As far as Beagles go she is relatively quiet, she will bark to let you know when she wants to come in and when she is happy to see someone but is otherwise quiet. This happy hound would be great for a family looking for an active companion. She’d be great for a home with kids or just adults. This is a very social and friendly pup! Basil needs a house with a fully fenced yard.
