My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Slim - male, neutered, vaccinate, vet checked, dewormed, tx flea preventative, heartworm tested, 5yr, ~65lbs, Greyhound mix.

Meet the Robert Redford of the canine world, Slim is handsome, easy going and just carries himself with such class and dignity. We arent sure about where Slim came from but he made landed himself in a high kill shelter in a rural area where he was over looked and eventually labeled to be euthanized. We are happy to have this guy safely in a foster home. Slim gets along really well with other dogs and is good with respectful children though we wouldnt mind a home with kids 7yr+ if possible, we have not had him around cats yet and suspect he would be fine but suggest a leashed introduction the first time around. Slim is house trained and crate trained, he can be given free roam of his home when left alone or crated as he doesnt mind the crate as long as there is a comfy bed or pillow in it. Its hard to describe this dog, he is just so laid back, gentle and calm, he is a pleasure to have around and has such a natural grace and appeal to him. He always looks regal whether he is standing at attention looking at the horizon or laying peacefully in the yard watching the world go by. Wed love to see him with a family that can appreciate such a companion. Slim needs a daily walk and likes to lay in the sun on warm days, he likes to be with his people and rest quietly on a comfy bed when inside. Slim would be happiest in a house with a yard he can sun tan in while his owners are around.
